Actually I don't know much about this song. It comes as a request. I think it is referring to the Lebanese Civil War. Any info would be appreciated. Also I can't find any audio online, sorry.
Majida el-Roumy - From the Darkness of the Days
From the darkness of the days
You've brought the most beautiful image
And gave peace to my defeated country
To our thirsty fields, to our cold homes
To our hearts abandoned from the darkness of the days
You planted at our doors flowers and poems
And when the pot of our soil blessed you
With Cherbel and Rafca and St. Kafifan (the first two are the names of Maronite saints, the third I can't verify but probably also Maronite saint)
A blue sky emptied on Lebanon
Pleading, we say pray with us at once
While the words run out to light up the sky
Oh you who brought peace to my defeated country
From the darkness of the days you brought the most beautiful image
And gave peace to my defeated country
From the darkness of the days
