Staple Corner: Basic Salad Vinaigrette


While visiting my parents this past weekend, I rummaged around in the fridge for some salad ingredients and created a very simple Dijon mustard vinaigrette for a dressing that can be put together in less than two minutes.

Simple and fast Dijon mustard vinaigrette in under two minutes

Preparation: 2 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or your favorite herbs
Instructions:
  • Whisk together all of the ingredients. Refrigerate for up to 2 to 3 days and whisk briefly before using.

Makes 1/2 cup
