Fifa 15 Game Trailer Bada Akintunde Fifa 15 Game Trailer FIFA 15 have released their latest video trailer ahead of September’s launch, with a number of new elements on show in the 93 seconds clip.
Senior producer Nick Channon talks us through the agility and control features for the latest instalment from EA Sports, and there are a number of key changes which promise to make this version the best yet.
Level of detail
The first thing that jumps out is the level of detail and that’s been spent on the realism of ball movement. When dribbling or making a volley, the ball spins and swerves in the way you’d expect it to in the real world.
An emphasis has been placed on a player’s balance and positioning when in control and dribbling, with an ability to dodge defenders and accelerate away. There is also an improved real-life element with players like Lionel Messi, for example, favouring their stronger foot and attempting to keep it on that side.

Defending promises to be a little different once again this year, and shirt pulling is now an option which adds another element of realism to the virtual game. Players can also shoulder barge and generally ‘spoil’ to stop attacks. Slide tackles offer more control for the defender, making it easier to keep the ball when making a challenge on the floor, but it remains to be seen if they can clean up the long-ball problem that enabled players to go route one and score in FIFA 14.
Excitement rises
The one thing this latest video has done is get us even more excited than we were before. The release of the new FIFA is always highly-anticipated by football fans, and those in North America will get it before the rest on September 23rd. Two days later it comes to Europe, with the UK last on the list on September 26th.
Lionel Messi will once again grace the game’s cover.
