Review: Chelsea 1-0 Swansea

A 29th-minute goal from Eden Hazard was enough as Chelsea earned a 1-0 victory over Swansea City at Stamford Bridge on Thursday.

The Blues were in control for much of the match but should have won by a more flattering score as the team's struggles in front of goal once again surfaced.

Hazard provided a moment of class just before the half-hour mark when he cut inside from the left wing and struck a shot toward goal that had plenty of movement. Goalkeeper Gerhard Tremmel appeared to have his view blocked by a defender, but he still should have done better as the ball eluded him.

Chelsea had numerous chances to add to its lead, however
Samuel Eto'o was particularly wasteful with the Cameroon
international missing a good chance on either side of halftime. But the result was enough to keep Chelsea within two points of the top spot in the league.
